Transportation
The transportation on the Dead Sea includes various cruise boats and excursion ships. Jerusalem is 39km from the Northern Dead Sea and Tel Aviv is 98km. To reach the Dead Sea, you can take the road from Jerusalem (Highway 1 & 90), Eilat and Tel Aviv. You can also take a bus from Jerusalem to the Oasis of Ein Gedi and Ein Bokek, which have public and private beaches on the Dead Sea.

 

Attraction
Being a water body, there is no dearth of water sports in Dead Sea. Besides the fact that the water quality of Dead Sea is unique, there are plenty of hot springs all along the shoreline. It’s a haven for spa lovers because there are some dedicated spas like the Ein Gedi Resort, which is quite a popular place.
