TRANSPORTATION/GETTING AROUND
The nearest airport from/to Ramat Gan is the Ben Gurion Aiport at Tel Aviv. The best way to get to the airport is by train or taxi. Taxis can be hailed anywhere and you can even order taxis over the phone. Remember to check that the driver has started the meter and don’t forget your receipt at the end of the journey. The public transportation system is excellent and both trains and buses run frequently and help you avoid the traffic jams at peak hours. Walking is also a good way to explore the town.
Smoking is prohibited in taxis as well as all public transportation facilities.

Home to the tallest skyscraper in Israel, the Diamond stock exchange, very first and successful shopping mall in the country – Kanyon Ayalon, there is much to see and do in Ramat Gan.
